Fish!

Why, yes, I *am* addicted to fish.

My interviews have shuffled around. The one for today is at 4pm, rescheduled from 11. Now, with how far I have to travel for this, I woke up semi-early-ish. Fuckers. This particular job (which I'll call job B) sounds like it's a piece of shit, even if the money is good. I mean, you don't reschedule the day of the event. That's pretty unprofessional. Job A's interview is TOMORROW instead of Thursday due to my evidently not knowing how to use a calendar. I have to fill out a HUGE application, too, since it's the final interview, as far as I know. It's literally 15 minutes away from me, and they seem to run a tighter ship. Job B has a much less well known name than Job A.

Needless to say, I'll only take Job B if Job A doesn't get offered to me since they pay about the same. But I can't just throw away Job B. Although it might have been fun to show up in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt and sandals and use the word "cunts" a lot with a fake British accent.

Also, Job B is a 3 month contract, while Job A is permanent. No brainer there.

Ah well, we'll see. I'm desperate to move but even if job B offered 10K more a year (which would only come out to $4/hr over Job A, which sounds great except I wouldn't get benefits and after $15,000 the gravy train is over and I need to look for work again), I'd be hard pressed to take it. I mean, if it takes me another 3 months to find work, then I'm really looking at making around $15000 a year within that whole 6 month period. Rent & Uts would be at least $800 in this crazy-ass town (or crazy ass-town). $4800 in living, so I'd have to make due with $10000 for six months of just being. Not counting food, gas, maintenance, internet, etc etc etc. Which I GUESS I could do. But, the alternative is like a $50K job and it's permanent.

Wuh? Oh. Stay in school, kids. Wish me luck!!!
