Reclaiming

So I FINALLY met up with Melissa today. She's good, and I met the fiancee. Yeah, he'll do. Glad he's not a prick like her ex-husband.

I'll avoid saying it. Nah, nevermind. I won't avoid saying it. Don't get married young. D:

Anyway, this month I'm pleased because I kept my spending to under 20% of what I earned. This is VERY VERY GOOD. Soon I'll have my savings account back. PLUS my car will be paid off in September. Yeah, 6 months away. BUT that's only SIX MORE PAYMENTS! Then I can lower some of my insurance coverage and pay a reasonable rate. When that happens I'll be able to squirrel even MORE cash away.

You know. To buy my secret lair. In a volcano or some shit like that.

Now, time for TOY REVIEW. I got a Palm. Well, I got two palms and one Palm. It's an older model, a Tungsten E. Still kinda cool. Don't know what I'm going to do with it. I hope to get some games for it... but so far it's not been too promising. I got a Shadowgate demo and it does funky things when I exit. Plus it's not very good with the stylus. Or maybe I was just rushing through it.

Either way I ordered a microSD card w/ SD adapter. Even if I end up not fucking around with the Palm too much I can later turn around and use it with a future cell phone.

Other than that, nothing to report. I got jury duty next month. I want to weasel out of it. Or at least delay it so I can get a paid day off instead of a jury day off where I'd get $5 at the end of it. Hmmm... $200 versus $5. The choice, good sir, is clear.

Or maybe I'll just flake it off. All I know is that if I were to stand trial I'd want more jurors than old fogeys deciding my fate.
